Usually I ramble about restaurant and my food/experience but here, at The Yellow Deli, there’s no need for filler rambling… there’s just a need for 1 statement and that is:
They make seriously outstanding food and drinks.
Oh, a tip… they get VERY busy during lunch/dinner time, so come early to get a table!

At My Table:
Curried Yam Soup
This soup is wonderful! Nice smooth balance of flavors.
If there was chicken in the soup, it would have easily be transformed into an authentic Butter Chicken dish.

Berry Blast Smoothie
Made with real fruit, juice and local honey.
I have a thing for smoothies, and they have the BEST smoothies in town!
Confession, I’ve been back to buy three more since my visit on Monday![]()

Iced Green Yerba Peach Mate Tea
Very refreshing and perfectly sweeten. My friend approves of this drink.

Turkey Rancher Hot Sandwich – served with chips mayo+mustard and a pickle
The bun (along with other bread goods) is made in house, and you can taste the freshness in the ingredients that are used in this AWESOME sandwich. Everything was made perfectly and I especially like the use of avocado to give the sandwich a creamy texture rather then having mayo smothered all over it. I also love the bun!
Warning, it is filling but will leave you with a healthy feeling. A+

Chicken Teriyaki Rice Bowl
Love it! At first glance it looked a bit over done with the sauce, but to my amazement the sauce was perfect. It tasted like Chicken Teriyaki you would get an a Japanese Restaurant and possibly better then some Japanese Restaurants in town.

Additional comments:
I would come back. In fact, I want to go back tomorrow for lunch! They have a good sized menu, including breakfast and dessert which I would love to try along with other drinks that are on the menu. In the dining area, they have a real fireplace going that gives you a warm cottage feeling/smell, and towards the back is where you will find a little store that you’re able to buy organic goods from. They use fresh, wholesome and organic ingredients and put as much care as possible into the preparation of each dish. Prices are fair, and the service is great. Try them!

Sarah - I love this place too! They make a mean Americano and the whole pickle on the side thing…. AWESOME. Great pictures, too! I love how it seems like hobbits could wander in the door any minute.
Theresa - Thanks for the tip, will definitely have to try their coffee since I am a coffee addict!
